ABSTRACT



"Times New Roman"">The research work is on  evaluation of firms’ outsourcing practices and
its effects on the organization’s performance
.
Outsourcing practices in business organization have been described as
management strategy that is prevalently used for effective and efficient
service delivery in a competitive business environment . The study in its
efforts outlines effect and contributions of outsourcing practices in business
organization. The study however collected its data from primary and secondary
sources. Primary data was collected through interviews and administration of
questionnaires on a purposive sample of 135 respondents who are employees of
Warri Refining & Petrochemical Company and Eternit Limited Sapele, in Delta
State. Secondary data was collected from journals, magazines, textbooks,
internet, etc. The analysis and presentation of data collected was done through
percentage, frequency tables, charts and non-parametric test of Chi-square
statistic. The findings of the study showed that there is significant
relationship between outsourcing practices and organization’s performance in
Nigeria. Based on the findings, the study therefore recommends among others
that

of business organization should develop a comprehensive plan to clarify
expectations, objectives, and requirements towards their outsourcing functions
